Olden Days Festival
Friday & Saturday, June 29-30, 2012
Begun in the 1980s, Olden Days has been one of the most popular community events to take place annually in Smithfield.
6th Ever, Re-Inaugural Pagan River Raft Race
Saturday June 30 at 3:00 p.m. at Smithfield Station
This year's theme is "Op Sail - Smithfield 2012." The Race course will be from the Smithfield Station Light House north to a buoy which must be circled then south to the finish line at the Cypress Creek Bridge.
There are two categories of rafts permitted: MODIFIED – any existing floating hull modified so that the original hull is not readily apparent or visible, powered by hand/paddle or humanly powered and HUCK FINN – any homemade floating vessel powered by hand/paddle or humanly powered. Join the fun!!!
