Chocolate Lover's Event
Friday, February 10 from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m.
in downtown Smithfield
The perfect Valentine's Celebration! Stroll the shops of downtown Smithfield to sample chocolate delights featured in each participating stores. There is no charge for the event, but each merchant will be collecting donations for their favorite charity.

It was a beautiful February evening in downtown Smithfield.

Professional guest chef Mary Griffith from Virginia's Finest Chocolates
judged the entries for prizes. Additionally, each participant in the contest received a $10.00 gift certificate to help defer costs.
Prizes:
$100.00 for the "People's Choice" winner
$50.00 for 1st place in both Amateur and Professional Categories
$35.00 for 2nd place in both Amateur and Professional Categories
$25.00 for 3rd place in both Amateur and Professional Categories
